5: Get your FREE Local Business Directory Listing Report for your Church
At this point in the process you should have already…
- Chosen your website address to use for your HUB. [This will probably be your main website address]
- Decided EXACTLY how you will write out and format your Church Name, Address and Phone Number.
- Downloaded and filled in the Church Contact Information section of your Local Promotion Resource Document.
There is still one more step you need to take before you begin making real changes to your online presence.
You need to find out EXACTLY where your Church currently IS and IS NOT being found online. The question is… how do you do that?
You can Google yourself to find out where you are in Local Church Search Terms, but that is not really what we are looking at in this step. A lot of where you rank in Google can change and is sometimes out of your control.
What we are looking at with Local Business Directories is something that IS within much of your control. So, you need a Free Local Business Directory Listing Report for your Church to get a better idea of where you currently are and are not found online.
Like we said before, you want to put your exact Church Name, Address, Phone Number and Website HUB address consistently on as many of these sites as possible.
But how can you find out which sites need changed and where you currently rank in the process?

This step was mentioned as one of the first things you should do in the START HERE
Section, but I am sure not everyone completed this step and completed their free scan to get their free church local listings report. This scan is similar to what you would see with a YEXT Local Business Directory scan.
This report will give you a general idea where you are and are not currently found on these sites, if the sites they scan for you have a consistent Name, Address & Phone Number on that specific site AND it will link directly to some of your listings so that you can see if they are inconsistent.
